Optimized for use on AR-10-style sporting rifles with 5/8×24 threaded barrels, the HuxWrx Safety Company 762 Shim Kit allows users to accurately “time” muzzle devices for precise alignment and proper operation. Crafted of raw, unfinished steel, each shim set ships with one Shim 1 (largest), eight Shim 2s (medium), and one Shim 3 (smallest). The large shim can be used to provide one-half of a rotation or as a spacer for barrels that do not have relief cuts behind the threads. Shim 2 is used in varying quantities to achieve up to 45 degrees of rotation. Finally, Shim 3 can be used when only small degrees of rotation are needed. For use on 7.62/.308-caliber barrels with 5/8×24 threaded barrels ONLY.
